Sometimes We All Need a Little Boost

Being healthy is on all of our minds these days….sometimes a little too much right? I started this year writing a blog post New Year, New Healthy Me, and wow, little did we know the world was soon going to be turned upside down. It’s alright, we’re going to make it through this :) We may not be able to control what happens in the world around us right now, but we CAN control our own lives and what we put into our bodies. And sometimes our bodies just need a little bit of an extra boost.

 As you know, I’ve been partnering with my friends over at OLLY all year, sharing some of my favorite new products from them (Check out my latest IG posts HERE and HERE). They’ve recently launched some new Immunity Powders and Gummies that are perfect for helping you stay healthy as we leave this Summer behind.  I think you all would love them.

Getting Rest is SOOOO Important for your Immune System

We all need good sleep, and we all know how great we feel when we finally get it. So why not do all we can to make that happens more often??  These times have been super stressful for me, and it has definitely taken a toll on my sleep. There’s just too much on my mind, and nighttime is when my body seems to want to think about it all. Can you relate? Ugh.  But OLLY has recently came out with a new Immunity Powder that has helped make it easier to drift off into dreamland. I was already fan of their Sleep Gummies, but I love that they also added some extra ingredients that help boost your immunity. In addition to helping you fall asleep with melatonin, it is also full of Elderberry, Vitamin C, D and Zinc which helps you wake up feeling more restored and healthy. All you do is mix the powder into 4-6oz of warm water for a new little nighttime routine with a soothing lemon taste. Next thing you know, good night :)

Here are some additional sleep tips I recommend for a strong immune system.

  • Always shoot for 7-8 hrs of sleep each night. I know this isn’t always possible, but it sure does make a difference. 

  • Avoid that late afternoon coffee (This is tough for me, as I’m always drinking coffee).

  • Try replacing screen time with a good book to end your day.
