Sunny Days in Golden Gate Park

Sunny Days in Golden Gate Park

The last couple weekends we have been going out to Golden Gate Park to explore it beauty. It is massive. It feels like it takes up half of the city of San Francisco. Our apartment is just a short bike ride away, so we've decided to take advantage of its close proximity. We've already found lots of flowers, like the bright and colorful Dahlia gardens featured above at the Conservatory of Flowers. Absolutely stunning. I also recommend the DeYoung Museum. They currently have a great retrospective on Ed Ruscha right now. But my favorite find so far have been the row boats at Stow Lake. It is a peaceful lake that makes a loop around parts of the park. I had never rowed before, so there was a little bit of a learning curve. Its simple though, and very relaxing! They also don't allow any cars in the park on the weekends, which opens all the roads to people running and cycling. I'm sure there will be many more park adventures to come!
